About Ed & Louise

Ed and Louise Field are originally from South Africa. They immigrated to the US in 2001 and are naturalized US citizens.

On a quest to experience the great United States of America and take advantage of the promise that the US offers to those willing to work hard, Ed left his work at Volkswagen South Africa HQ to pursue an opportunity in the automotive world in the US. In June 2001, just 5 days after they got married in South Africa, Ed and Louise moved to Greenville, OH, with their 4 suitcases, leaving their family, friends, and everything they knew behind. Ed and Louise understood that being open to relocating, there were great opportunities to grow within the corporate world. They have lived all across the US, purchasing and remodeling homes along the way, doing a lot of the work themselves. Their remodeling experience grew when Louise started flipping homes full-time, managing the trades and subcontractors. Of all her remodeling skills, Louise is most proud of her tile work. Ed is a great mudder and taper. They both admit they are a little OCD and not the fastest out there so they now leave that work to their talented team. Louise is a licensed Class A General Contractor. Ed’s experience in different divisions in the automotive industry has equipped him well to take care of the operations side of the business.
